I’m Paula Cornwell, the Managing Director of Town and Country Nannies, and I’m passionate about excellence in childcare. Wherever you live, we aim to provide first class childcare and first class service, every step of the way.
I know that nothing is more important than giving your children the very best possible care, and I take childcare very seriously. When I moved into childcare recruitment I found that other agencies didn’t share my high standards and concern for quality, safety, and matching the right nanny with the right family; that’s why I set up Town and Country Nannies in January 2012.
How did I come to set up my own nanny agency? Well, I worked for many years in child protection, and know more than most about the importance of taking great care of children. As a working mother I employed a number of nannies to look after my own daughter, so I know just how you feel when entrusting your precious children to someone else. Overall the experience was so positive for us that my daughter went on to train as a nanny at the prestigious Chiltern College, and I moved into childcare recruitment (via a couple of other equally interesting careers!).
Town and Country Nannies brings together all of my professional and personal experience and expertise as well as my own incredibly high standards, to provide our clients with the very best nannies. My staff (who are trained by me) and I personally meet, vet and interview all of our nannies. All qualifications, references and DBS checks are double-checked to give you the highest level of confidence in our nannies. Most important, we take great care to spend time with both you and the nannies we are interviewing on your behalf, to ensure that we secure you the perfect person to look after your family.
Nothing is more important than taking great care of your children; that’s why I personally ensure that we have only the very best nannies on our books.
