At Town & Country Nannies we know that finding the right candidate for your childcare position of paramount importance to you so we have provided an overview our nanny recruitment process.
Our nanny recruitment procedure is one of the strictest in the industry and we take great care at every stage to check and double check all candidates and their documentation thoroughly.
We are dedicated to sourcing the highest calibre candidates with relevant experience and qualifications, and excellent, checkable references. Nanny registration interviews with candidates are held in person and are lengthy, so that we can get to know the candidates, their personality and lifestyle. We can also discover their strengths and weaknesses, and be sure of the type of position or family where they will best fit.
At the registration interview we verify all original documents and ask for proof of identity, (Passport or birth certificate), Qualification certificates, a Paediatric First Aid certificate, and an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (Police check). We can renew these if required.
Subsequent to interview, we check all references, and where possible by telephone. We speak to previous employers and to character referees, to get a full picture of the candidate’s past.
If at any time during this process we are not sure about a candidate, we do not register them.
