An active family in Benfleet, are looking for a calm caring Nanny to care for their 3 children, Two Boys aged 8 & 7 and a little Girl of 4 years old.  This is a permanent position.  The family would consider all levels of experience.

Duties

  • Sole charge of the children
  • School run both morning and afternoon
  • Driving the children to and from activities
  • Nursery duties, children’s washing, ironing, healthy fresh cooking, weekly bed changes and keeping communal areas clean and tidy
  • Listen to the children read in the evening and help with homework as required
  • Planning fun, age appropriate days out in the school holidays, taking the children to various places, and experiencing new adventures.

Nanny Requirements

  • Childcare qualification
  • Clear DBS
  • Clean driving licence, with own car for on duty use
  • Up to date Paediatric first aid certificate
  • Good referenced career history
  • Cared for children of a similar age

Hours and salary

  • Term time – Monday to Friday 07:00-09:00 and 15:00-19:30
  • School holidays – Monday to Friday 07:00-19:30
  • £21,000-£25,600 gross per annum, depending on experience

An outdoorsy family in Great Hallingbury are looking for a temporary nanny for their boy, girl twins aged 3 years old.  This is a full-time temporary position, live in or live out.   The family have horses, two dogs and a cat.

This lovely family are looking for a nanny who is pro-active and has heaps of energy to explore the grounds, playing lots of fun games.  Their ideal candidate will hold a level three childcare qualification, an up to date clean DBS and a paediatric first aid certificate. You will be a driver with a clean driving licence. Nanny will hold all the relevant documentation to become Osfted registered should this be required.  Nanny will have a good referenced career history and ideally have previous twins experience.  The children enjoy various indoor and outdoor activities, someone who can plan fun, engaging and interactive games is a must.  Nanny will enjoy quiet time reading to the children, baking and countryside living.

You will have sole charge of the twins, both parents work from home in a separate part of the house.  Nanny duties will include, the children’s washing, ironing, and keeping their communal areas clean and tidy.  Nanny will be a good cook providing the children with healthy meals and snacks, the family are vegetarian.   Live-in accommodation is available, with a joined-on Annex, complete with own bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. Living area is shared with the children as a playroom.

Hours are Monday to Friday 09:00-19:00.

Salary £12 gross per hour, £600 gross per week.

Really friendly family in a village close to Bury St Edmunds are looking for a full time Nanny Housekeeper for their girls aged 2 and 4 and a baby due in May. This is a full time and permanent position, starting in April.

The nanny this family are looking for will be cheerful and helpful and have a can do attitude. You will hold a childcare qualification, clear DBS and paediatric first aid. You will be a driver with a clean licence. You will have worked with a family before and have a good referenced career history. Experience with babies would be welcomed. Nanny will be a competent cook and be able to cook for the whole family, providing healthy, varied and nutritious meals. You will enjoy the housekeeping element of the position and show pride in your work.

Duties include shared and occasional sole charge of the children, especially after the new baby comes, helping Mum to get feeding and sleep routines established. You will look after the two older children, taking them to activities, and keeping them busy at home, and help Mum to run the six bedroom house that the family reside in. They do have a cleaner who will perform all the heavy cleaning tasks but you will keep on top of the tidying and cleaning of the rooms that are used daily. Helping with family washing and ironing, and organising shopping for food. The family would like to think you could just get on with things once the initial settling in period is over.

Hours are flexible, Monday – Friday eight hours per day
Salary is £10 – 12 gph dependant on experience with an April start

A happy, welcoming family of 5 living in Hertfordshire close to Goff’s Oak are looking for a professional, kind, experienced Nanny to join their family. The family have 3 children all girls age 1, 2 and 8 years old. This is a full-time permanent position.

Their ideal nanny will hold a childcare qualification and have vast experience caring for children of a similar age, Nanny will ideally have worked for a family in the public eye before. Nanny will hold a clean driving licence, on duty cars will be provided. Nanny will hold an up to date first aid certificate along with a good referenced work history. Nanny will hold a clean DBS. A fun enthusiast nanny is required. The family have extended family living with, (separate accommodation) them so it’s important you are able to work in a busy household. This is a busy fun household, their ideal nanny will have a first-class presentation of themselves, commensurate to the profile of the family. Nanny will be clean, tidy and organised is an absolute must as well as kind, fun, considerate but firm. Someone who is logical and can use their initiative, who is organised and works quickly.

Your duties are varied, the girls are at nursery or school Monday to Friday, With the youngest coming out of nursery for a couple of different activities during the week, sometimes with mum and other times with nanny. Nanny will be required to do school drop offs and pickups, complete homework with the eldest. Nanny will be a good cook preparing fresh and healthy meals, nanny will take the children out to local activities at weekends, the family are a horsey with 2 of the children riding so if you have experience with horses even better. An outdoorsy type of candidate is preferred and someone confident & eloquent in all social situations. The children are all in a good routine, someone who is able to continue this routine is a must. The family have a full time Housekeeper Mon – Friday, so no heavy cleaning duties are required just washing of children’s clothes at the weekend & tidying up after children at weekend. As the children are all in full time childcare you will be required to run a few light errands to the post office, dry cleaners and shopping etc for the family.

Hours are 5 days a week Thursday – Monday. 6.30am-6.30pm plus 2 babysitting / overnight stays per week. The family travel 10-12 weeks a year to various locations around the world and you would be required to travel with the family and work a 6-day week when abroad, experienced as a travelling nanny is required. All travel expenses will be covered. You will get 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays. When mum and dad travel you will be required to live in at the house – they are never are away for more than 1 week at a time.

Salary from £40-£50,000 a year depending on experience.
