A genuine family in Shenfield are looking for a nanny/housekeeper to care for their little boy of 4 years old and a girl of 13 years old. This is a part time permanent position.
The ideal candidate will have experience as both a nanny and housekeeper. You will have knowledge of running a decent sized house (six bedroom and 5 bathrooms) and its care and upkeep working to a high standard without prompt. Nanny will hold a childcare qualification, have experience with children of similar ages, hold an up to date first aid certificate and a clean DBS. The family require a nanny with a clean driving licence, there is a possibility of an on duty car, nanny will have a good referenced work history. Nanny will have experience with this age group and be able to complete all housekeeping duties while the children are at school. During the school holidays you will be required to continue your housekeeping duties, having shared care of the little boy, planning fun days out. Nanny will be a good cook providing the family with a nutritious evening meal, catering for children with a dietary intolerance would be a bonus. Nanny will be organised ensuring the children have completed homework and have all the equipment required for the following day. You will be calm, hands on and be able to build a strong bond with the children, encouraging a good relationship.
Your duties include, arriving at the house in the morning ensuring the children have breakfast and are prepared for school, ensuring both children have the necessary equipment for school, ensuring the girl leaves the house on time, the school is a short walk away. You will be required to drive the little boy to school, returning home to complete your housekeeping duties. You will complete a full houseclean weekly, along with bed changes and keeping up to date with the family laundry. Nanny will collect the little boy from school, returning home to complete homework, reading and take to any after school activities, you will have free time in the evening to have fun and play some lovely games in the garden, preparing for bed until the parents return home.
Hours are Monday and Tuesday 07:30-19:30, some flexibility required.

Salary: £12-13 gross per hour.

The best candidate for this position will be experienced in both the housekeeping side of the position as well as the care of these lovely children. You will have the knowledge of running a decent sized house (five bedrooms 4 bathrooms) and its care and upkeep and will work to a high standard without prompts. Nanny will have experience of working with this age group and will be able to balance care and housekeeping. You will be a good cook and able to cook well for the children and the parents. Nanny will have a cheerful disposition and will be calm and kind with the children, encouraging a good relationship to form. Nanny will be a confident swimmer.
Duties include arriving at the house early afternoon and starting with housekeeping duties, a full clean of the house is expected weekly (not all in one go!) and not all the rooms are used all the time. You can use this time to prepare meals and also do some batch cooking for the freezer. You will need to do the whole family’s washing on a weekly basis. School pick ups for both children and returning home for tea, help with homework and getting the children ready for the next day at school. In the holidays hours could be a little more flexible If desired. Providing a good and interesting day for the children is encouraged, including plenty of use of the family’s pool.
Hours are essentially 14.30 – 18.30 Monday – Thursday with extra hours to make up to 25/30hours a week to suit.
Salary is £10 -12 gross per hour with a start around the end of October

This welcoming family are looking for a relaxed and flexible nanny. Nanny must enjoy getting their hands dirty with arts and crafts and enjoy baking. This family enjoy being outside going on long walks and visiting parks, you must be a confident swimmer as the little girl will be attending swimming lessons, the family would like the twins to also begin swimming. Nanny must have worked in a similar role previously and be experienced. You will hold a childcare qualification, a clear DBS and driving licence with your own car for on duty use. You will have an up to date first aid certificate and a good referenced work history.
Your duties will include shared care of the children, you will be confident in your duties, and will have sole charge from time to time. You will be a good cook providing the family with healthy nutritious meals and enjoy baking with the little girl. You will complete usual nursery duties such as the children’s washing, weekly bed changes and keeping their bedrooms clean and tidy. Nanny will be organised, keeping the children’s wardrobes and toys in order. You will have experience with bottle feeds, sterilising and weaning twins. Nanny will be good at finding local baby classes and activities for all the children to attend.
This is a permeant shared care position, which may lead into a sole charge position in the future.
The family are looking for a nanny 3 days per week minimum, this may increase to 5 days per week, to be confirmed.
Hours: 9 – 10 hours per day.
Salary: Circa £10 gross per hour.
Start date: September 2018.
