A family in Sawbridgeworth are looking for a full time Nanny / Housekeeper to care for their 2 girls aged 9 and 10 years old. This is a full time permanent position and can be live out or live in. There is separate accommodation on site, fully self contained.
This family are looking for a capable happy Nanny / Housekeeper, who will be adaptable and confident in this role. You will have had experience working in a similar position before and enjoy working withholder children. Nanny will be a confident cook providing healthy, nutritious meals for the whole family, and will have a good repertoire interesting dishes. You will also take pride in the housekeeping side of the role and work to a high standard. Nanny will have a good education, maths and computer skills essential, you will also be easy to have around with good communication skills.
Duties include sole charge of the children in the mornings, and getting them ready for school, breakfasted and then the school run to a local prep school. Returning home to complete housekeeping tasks which includes all the family washing and ironing, bed linen changes, and keeping the house clean and tidy ( a cleaner is kept for heavy cleaning) You will cook a super meal for the girls and the parents for when they come home. The afternoon school run, and taking to clubs etc as needed. You will ensure all homework is completed and that the girls are fully prepared for the following school day with books, kit etc. Full sole charge of the girls in the holidays with outings and playdates. One child had a mild nut allergy to peanuts, nanny will be trained to use an Epi-Pen, if not already familiar.
Hours are Monday and Friday 08.00- 18.00 and Tuesday – Friday 07.00 – 19.00
Salary is £26,000 gross per annum with a March start

A very calm welcoming family in Felsted are looking for a temporary maternity nanny. This is the family’s first baby boy.
The nanny will have experience working with new born babies and new first-time mothers. The nanny will hold a childcare qualification, have a clean DBS and hold a paediatric first aid certificate, along with a clear driving licence. The nanny will have a clam and natural disposition and enjoy working with new-borns, you will have experience settling a new-born into a sleep and feeding routine working alongside mother.
Your main duties are the care of the new-born allowing mum to recover from surgery, help to structure a routine, change bed linen when required and support mother with feeds.
The family are looking for a nanny for the first 5 weeks, the baby is due via C-section the 1st week of November, the family will require a nanny for 3-4 hours per day with flexibility for more hours if required, the nanny will also be required for 2 overnight stays per week. Duties include sole charge of the children, school runs to a local independent school, morning and afternoon in term time. Producing a good home cooked tea for the return and also producing a meal for the rest of the family. During holidays you will devise interesting and stimulating activities and trips out. You may be asked to accompany the family on holidays both in the winter (skiing) and summer (beach) holidays. The housekeeping part of your role includes a full weekly clean of the house (not in one go!) washing and ironing of bedlinen and clothes and producing good food as described. The children swim regularly at grandparents house so a swimmer would be useful. Preparing lovely meals and providing interesting days for them both with activities inside and outside the home. You may have sole charge during the night as sometimes parents have a very early start in the mornings (03.30!)
