A dynamic and outdoorsy family in a small village close to Ongar are looking for a super live in Nanny for their two girls aged 5.5 years and 2. The family have both indoor and outdoor animals. This is a permanent position, and the family are looking for a nanny who will want to stay for the longer term. The family are providing self contained accommodation next to their home which has a bedroom, large sitting room, bathroom and galley kitchen. All on duty meals to be provided.
The Nanny this family are seeking will be outgoing, a great communicator and have confidence in the role. You will be a real team player and happy to muck in where required. You will hold a childcare qualification, a clean DBS, paediatric first aid and hold a clean driving licence. You will be or willing to be Ofsted registered. You will need your own car to get to the house, but an on duty car will be provided. You will be a decent cook and be happy to be out and about with the children. Including driving to the Northwest of England to visit grandparents. You will be aware of health and safety and make regular risk assessments of the girls’ environment. Most of all you will be fun to have around, organised and reliable.
Duties include sole charge of both girls, cooking meals for them and ensuring they have interesting and stimulating days regular trips and fresh air as well as calm at home times. A good selection of activities needs to be planned as do weekly menus. Trips to the dentist and other health professionals as required, and ensuring they meet their milestones. Usual nursery duties are required, cleaning and tidying of rooms and laundry for the girls. On occasion when the family is super busy it would be appreciated if you could produce a meal for the whole family. The family travel and would like Nanny to accompany them on holiday, there will be extra remuneration for being away with them. Occasionally there will be overnight stays, with good notice, as will some babysitting and hours at weekends (rare) The parents wish to reassure candidates that they are fair and reasonable with hours and give plenty of notice.

Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00 – 19.00 The family are open to some flexibility and would consider live out, and a shorter term.

Four day Nanny Wickham Bishops TC 594

Professional family in Wickham Bishops (twixt Witham and Maldon) and known to the agency are looking for a nanny for their two lovely girls aged 11 and 6 years, for four days per week before and after school. The family also have a friendly little dog who would appreciate a walk! This is a part time permanent position.

Nanny will be qualified and hold a current DBS and paediatric first aid certificate together with a clean driving licence and own car for which mileage will be paid. This family love the outdoors so nanny will be energetic and be comfortable on long walks with the girls and visits to the park and the beach at West Mersea in the summer. Nanny will be a swimmer, too as the family have a pool. Nanny will have a can do attitude and be flexible, seeing what needs to be done and completing nursery duties and occasional tasks for the family, who will see nanny as a member of their family. You will also be very reliable and looking to stay with the family in the longer term.

Duties will include getting both girls up, breakfasted and out to the village school. Then spending some time on completing nursery duties and light housework (a cleaner is kept) You could be offered 5/6 hours a week to do a full clean if you would like. Nanny will have good baby experience, including as a nanny and be confident in the role. The candidate best suited to this family will have a well-educated background and will have experience working as a Governess, teacher or tutor previously. You will have experience caring for children of this age group and plan your time well. Nanny will have a good command of the English language both spoken and written, and to be able teach this to the child.

Nanny must be organised ensuring the day is well planned with lots of lovely things to do and see. The little girl loves to swim weekly, attend the museum and is very keen to learn about science and nature. She is very bright little girl and loves to read, the family are looking for someone who will be able to prepare her for pre-prep, encouraging reading, writing and arithmetic for the school transition. Nanny/Governess with hold a childcare certificate, a teaching qualification is welcomed. An up to date paediatric first aid certificate, and a clear DBS Nanny will have a clean driving licence with her own car for on duty use. You will hold a good referenced work history, the family may require nanny to travel with them on their family holiday, this is not a deal breaker. Duties include arriving at the family home at 7am ensuring that both boys are up and breakfasted, the older boy takes the bus to school, so walking the younger one to his nearby school which is very close. Returning at 3.15 to pick up the younger boy and return home to prepare a good tea for him and his brother when he returns, help with any homework and just ensure that everywhere is tidy and clean, nursery duties are minimal, depending on time. You await parents return at 18.15. Hours during school holidays may vary and extra hours may well be offered, flexibility is key here.

A new family in Little Canfield are looking for their first Mary Poppins, for their New Born baby boy, who will be 3 months old in February, when this position commences. This is a part time, permanent position.

The perfect candidate for this family will have oodles of baby experience and will have worked in a similar role previously.  Nanny will hold a childcare qualification, and an up to date first aid certificate. Nanny will hold a clean DBS and driving licence. Ofsted registration is a bonus but not a deal breaker.   Naturally you will have a good referenced work history and be organised.  Nanny will complete usually nursery duties such as his washing, ironing, sterilising of bottles and toys, weekly bed changes and keeping his bedroom and communal areas clean and tidy. Nanny will be a safe driver, reliable and punctual. Nanny will have a warm and caring personality and will enjoy being part of this family.  The parents on occasion work from home, you will be easy to get along with and have a good can-do attitude.

Your duties will include arriving Tuesday morning to take over his daily routine.  Most importantly you will put into place a well-structured routine for the family and have lots of knowledge of new-born care. As time allows you will find suitable playgroups and find fun and engaging places to take him. You will take him to weekly weigh in centres and find fun walks to go on along the way.  Nanny will have a good understanding of weaning for a New born and batch cook for the freezer.
