A new family in Little Canfield are looking for their first Mary Poppins, for their New Born baby boy, who will be 3 months old in February, when this position commences. This is a part time, permanent position.

The perfect candidate for this family will have oodles of baby experience and will have worked in a similar role previously.  Nanny will hold a childcare qualification, and an up to date first aid certificate. Nanny will hold a clean DBS and driving licence. Ofsted registration is a bonus but not a deal breaker.   Naturally you will have a good referenced work history and be organised.  Nanny will complete usually nursery duties such as his washing, ironing, sterilising of bottles and toys, weekly bed changes and keeping his bedroom and communal areas clean and tidy. Nanny will be a safe driver, reliable and punctual. Nanny will have a warm and caring personality and will enjoy being part of this family.  The parents on occasion work from home, you will be easy to get along with and have a good can-do attitude.

Your duties will include arriving Tuesday morning to take over his daily routine.  Most importantly you will put into place a well-structured routine for the family and have lots of knowledge of new-born care. As time allows you will find suitable playgroups and find fun and engaging places to take him. You will take him to weekly weigh in centres and find fun walks to go on along the way.  Nanny will have a good understanding of weaning for a New born and batch cook for the freezer.

The family are looking for overnight stays three nights per week, allowing the parents a well-deserved rest. Overnight stays will be 21:00/22:00-07:00 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, flexibility is key.

Nanny will have their own bedroom with En Suite bathroom, TV, Wifi access.  You will co-sleep with the baby until a routine is established and he is sleeping through the night, feeding less regularly.

Core day hours are Tuesday to Thursday 07:00-16:00.

Salary £12gph.

£350-450 gross per week, including overnight stays.

Once the school run is complete you will return to the house to complete housekeeping duties such as the girls washing, weekly bed changes, weekly food shop, post office collections and general housekeeping duties. You will take pride in your work and keep the house to a high standard; the family have regular cleaners, so no heavy cleaning is required. In the afternoon you will collect the little girl from school, returning home to encourage homework, take to clubs and other after school activities. You will be organised, arranging all equipment and clothing for school the following day. During the school holiday you will have both girls, where you will plan fun and engaging activities for both. One parent works from home tucked away in the office, allowing nanny to continue her day.

Live-in nanny/housekeeper will have their own separate fully equipped accommodation.

Hours: Monday and Friday 08:00-18:00, Tuesday to Thursday 07-00-19-00.
